They did some nice back and forth wrestling early. Red nailed a rana sending Kendrick to the outside. Kendrick got right back in and they nailed a series of hiptosses. Red nailed a droppkick, sending Kendrick to the outside. Kendrick used Rosita to save himself from Red, then nailed Red and sent him over the top into the crowd, landing on a small set of bleachers. That was a stiff bump.

Kendrick followed, nailing a hard kick to Red on the floor in the crowd. They brawled through the buiilding and then back into the ringside area. Kendrick worked over Red on the floor. Inside the ring, Kendrick continued to choke Red against the ropes and work him over. The crowd chanted, “Let’s go Red,” Others chanted, “Let’s go Spanky.”

Red rebounded off the ropes but was nailed with a running back elbow. Kendrick stood on Red, choking him. Kendrick locked Red in a Camel Clutch. Kendrick worked over Red who fired back but missed a charge into the corner. Kendrick went right back choking Red. He nailed Red with a suplex for a two count. Kendrick locked in a Camel Clutch again and drilled down across his back.

Red finally fired back and nailed a standing rana on Kendrick. He ran and hit a running kick in the corner and drilled Kendrick with a float over DDT for a two count. Red was caught with a jawbreaker. He avoided a kick and nailed a windmill kick. He drilled Kendrick with a dropkick in the corner and Kendrick retreated to the floor. Red hit a running, twisting dive to the floor on Kendrick.

Red came off the top with a Japanese style missile dropkick for another two count. Red missed a swanton off the top and was nailed with a leaping leg lariat for a two count. Kendrick and Red battled on the apron and Red flipped in over Kendrick, only to be cut off with a clothesline. Rosita was checking on Red as Kendrick went to hit a sliding kick. Red moved, leaving Rosita (by accident) to be nailed with the kick.

Kendrick caught the shocked Red with a DDT for a two count. Kendrick placed Red on the top rope. They battled back and forth with Red knocking him back into the ring. Kendrick, undaunted, took Red’s legs from under him.They battled until Red nailed a Code Red off the top, followed by a standing shooting star press for the pin.

They shook hands after the match. Kendrick tried to shake Rosita’s hand as well but she slapped him. Kendrick rolled out of the ring and went to the back. Red took the mic and thanked everyone for coming out. He said the fans blessed the entire show and he thanked them for making the show amazing. He led the fans in a “House of Glory” chant. The show ended with Red and Rosita celebrating. Rosita thanked everyone for supporting Red and the House of Glory.

Dan Maff vs. The Amazing Red

As Maff came to the ring, Reality Check jumped him in the aisle and beat him down. The referee rang the bell and began counting Maff out. He rolled in at nine and was attacked and beaten down by Red, who put on Maff’s vest to mock him.

Red pulled Maff’s led to the apron and slammed it. Red began working over Maff’s ankle and leg. He turned Maff over into a single-leg crab. Maff made it to the ropes but Red kept working him over. Maff fell off the apron hard onto the floor, where Red kept trashing him.

Back in the ring, Maff fought back but was caught with a reverse rana for a two count. Red came off the top with a flying legdrop, then tied Maff up on the mat. He locked in an STF. Maff rolled out of it but was caught with a glancing (VERY glancing) spin kick. Out of nowhere, Maff came back with a spear and a clothesline for a two count.

Maff hit a Head and arms suplex from the outside to inside the ring. He naied the Burning Hammer and Reality Check ran down. Maff knocked Devoin Moore off the apron. The referee was distracted by Jay Lethal, allowing Kevin Matthews to nail Maff with a chair. Red rolled atop of Maff for the pin.

During Jay Lethal vs Sami Callihan

Callihan locked on the Stretch Muffler again and a second referee hit the scene. Amazing Red followed him out and hit a standing shooting star press on the ref, wiping him out. Callihan took out Red and rolled up Lethal. Lethal slipped out as there was no referee and hit a handspring cutter. A third referee hit the scene but Callihan kicked out at two.

The newly crowned VPW Tag Team Champions, already hyped after the beatdown they just delivered on Nick Noshus, kept things going in their match against the challengers from Brooklyn. The match was evenly contested but they knocked the referee down and the rest of ConfluxXx came down to the ring. Things got out of control, and the referee threw the match out.

Amazing Red returns to Fight The World Wrestling for their Road to Gold show on April 15th. He’ll be taking on The Grim Reefer in a rematch from March of War. Below is the synposis on the match. You can buy tickets and read more on the matches at the show by visiting their website.

Another rematch has been signed for FTW Road to Gold and it will see The Grim Reefer taking on Amazing Red. These two met at March fo War in a high flying, fast paced battle. Top rope dropkicks, hurricanrana’s, and a bevy of other aerial moves made this, quite arguably, the match of the night.

This win is exactly what Reefer needed after losing a FTW World Title Match to Jay Lover back in January. Surprisingly, the Queens crowd seemed to have Reefer’s back more than Red’s in this match up, which could’ve helped Reefer get the win. For Red, it was a disappointing loss. At various moments throughout the match, it could’ve gone either way, but in the end, Reefer locked on the Chronic Crossface and that spelled doom for Red. However, Red rebounded nicely the next night with a win over former FTW World Heavyweight Champion Jimmy Jact Cash.

The rematch between these two promises to be just one of the many kick ass matches at FTW Road to Gold on Sunday April 15th from the NYWC Sportatorium in Deer Park New York!
